Sympathy flowers offered by Fleur-tatious Floral Design are individually designed with a focus on artistic detail and intended to convey the sentiments of the sender. We offer a variety of design styles including traditional basket arrangements or easel sprays, which are suitable for the wake and funeral. Additionally we offer designs in vases or low, decorative containers. Our arrangements are often described as “unique”, “artistic” and “elegant.”A full, low arrangement is recommended when sending condolences to a family member at their home.Our traditional tall arrangements are truly a focal point, as their size and scale lend themselves to being an appropriate sized presence at a funeral home or memorial service. When sending to the services, a low arrangement can often be easier to transport for the family members, and offer lasting comfort in their homes. European Plant Basket

Fleur-tatious Floral Design offers many varieties of green and flowering plants, European plant baskets and single or double-stemmed orchids in various sizes and colors. The plants, European garden baskets and orchids we offer are hand-selected at the New England Flower Exchange on a regular basis. These choices offer a long lasting, elegant alternative to fresh flowers when sending a “birthday”, “get well” or even a “thinking of you” gift. Conversely, a beautiful orchid plant in a decorative cachepot can provide a long lasting tribute to a loved one as they often blossom and provide lasting flowers for several months. Contrary to popular belief, orchids are fairly easy to care for and provide long-lasting blooms and can be the perfect accent in anyone’s home. Most orchids varieties only require watering every 2 to 3 weeks and prefer indirect light. The blooms can last several months and the plant often re-flowers after about a 6-month dormancy period. Accented with twiggy branches and decorative moss, each orchid is presented in a stylish cachepot.
